About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to work at our warehouse based in Lawnton on a full time basis.
Working with a dedicated and friendly team, you will play a vital role in the movement of product throughout the Pedders Suspension & Brakes network, both internally and state-wide. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in supervising and coordinating daily warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound deliveries, inventory management and order fulfilment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the warehouse.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on increasing sales throughout the business.
- Support overseeing the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, including quality checks and documentation.
- Supervise the warehouse team re picking/packing/despatching of product orders.
- Supervise the return of warranty stock to the Quality team.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock records.
- Prepare orders for dispatch by picking, packing, and labelling items accurately and efficiently using the Pronto ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations and standards.

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- LF forklift license.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), RF Technology and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
- Demonstrated warehouse, logistics and/or inventory control experience.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
