The opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join our brand new store in Brookvale, with the ability to develop business relationships, drive sales, and lead and motivate a small team. 

Please note: on commencement, induction and training will be conducted at a Pedders store located near Brookvale.

In this role you will coordinate the day-to-day technical operations of the store workshop and trade activity to ensure customer satisfaction and to meet the store targets. Some of your duties will include;

  • Provide support to the Store Manager and manage the store in their absence.
  • Support the management of the daily workshop schedule and maintain an on-time customer delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate parts supply and delivery to the workshop workflow. 
  • Monitor the quality of work performed in the workshop. 
  • Perform vehicle repairs as required.

This is a full time role based at our Maribyrnong store.

What you will bring to the team: 

  • Certificate III Automotive (Mechanical – Light Vehicle). 
  • Current, Full Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrative experience in automotive suspension repairscomponents, and operation.
  • Experience in leading or managing people and fostering a positive culture.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to coordinate workshop tasks and perform jobs efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
