In our recruitment space we are seeking to enhance how we attract and source talent whilst enhancing the overall experience. As a Recruitment Partner, you won’t just fill roles — you’ll play a strategic role in shaping our teams, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract, engage, and hire top talent aligned with our values and long-term goals.

 

What are some of the responsibilities of the role:

  • Candidate sourcing and attraction: proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, local community engagement and industry specific forums.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Parter with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand workforce needs, deliver tailored recruitment solutions and advise on best practice recruitment.
  • Manage the end-to-end life cycle of recruitment for all Pedders positions including advertising, sourcing initiatives, application review, phone screening, pre-employment checks and offer management through to day one preparation.
  • Delivery of a range of employer brand initiatives to showcase and celebrate the culture at Pedders.
  • Talent pool management: Build, maintain and nurture active talent pools for pre identified roles, providing a source of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Compliance and documentation: Ensure recruitment activities comply with internal policies, relevant industry requirements and employment legislation.

 

What we’re seeking from you:

  • Proven experience in volume recruitment environments.
  • Demonstrated success in independently managing end to end recruitment processes in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience recruiting within the automotive industry or a similar sector (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practice, labor market trends and sourcing approaches for blue collar roles.
  • Willingness to travel within the state and occasionally interstate for recruitment events.
  • Experience working closely with hiring managers’ and operational teams to advise on best practice recruitment approaches.
  • Experience attending or organising trade fairs, job expos or community hiring events (desirable).
