The Opportunity

We’ve recently had a team member take on a new opportunity internally and as a result we’ve had this exciting role open. Within our Product team we have several portfolios, and we play a critical role as custodians of our products when it comes to the range, pricing, the positioning and marketing and sales aspects.

 

This role will be the glue that helps our team deliver and will work closely with our Product Managers to deliver the product roadmap, execute tasks when it comes to life cycle management and contribute to research work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively support with the implementation and monitoring of allocated new product development projects through project management tasks.
  • Work alongside our Product Managers to deliver on the defined product vision and roadmap.
  • Support our Product Managers when it comes to product lifecycle management tasks such as range maintenance, range development and product sourcing.
  • Assist with product performance aspects such as monitoring sales and earnings of products.
  • Contribute towards key data analytics work that involves interpretation of data, gap analysis and insights.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Experience in use of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience tracking the completion of tasks and reporting on progress and updates.
  • Previous experience multi-tasking and effectively prioritising tasks that have been allocated.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to talk to different people.
  • Proactive and organised.
  • Results orientated with an ability to problem solve.
  • Exposure to assisting with research work in the product space (desirable).
  • Experience of analysing data in the product space (desirable).
  • Marketing/Business qualification or equivalent preferably at the Tertiary level or in the progress of (desirable).
