The Opportunity
Pedders is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our CEO in a critical role that blends strategic, operational, and administrative responsibilities. This is more than just executive support—it's about enabling success, driving outcomes, and operating as a true business partner to the CEO.
In this trusted and hands-on role, you’ll contribute directly to the delivery of organisational outcomes by anticipating needs, facilitating communication, creating effective routines, and ensuring follow-through on critical actions. You’ll work across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders—from our Board and founders to operational teams—keeping the CEO informed, focused, and operating at maximum impact.

What are some of the responsibilities of the role:
- Provide high-level executive support including complex calendar and inbox management, confidential correspondence, meeting preparation and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate Board and executive committee meetings, including agenda preparation, professional minute-taking, and timely follow-up on action items.
- Build and manage trusted relationships across the organisation — from Board and founders to the shop floor.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the CEO with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and edit high-quality business documents, reports, and presentations (strong Excel and PowerPoint skills essential).
- Track and manage key priorities, decisions, and follow-ups to ensure execution across cross-functional and executive projects.
- Plan and manage events, leadership offsites and business-wide engagements with precision and attention to detail.
- Bring commercial awareness to day-to-day decision making and help the CEO stay focused on high-impact priorities.
- Contribute as a true business partner—challenging, advising and stepping in where needed to create clarity and momentum.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team, coordinate planning cycles and ensure alignment of key communications.
- Continuously seek ways to improve workflows and drive operational effectiveness in the executive office.
What we’re seeking from you:
- Significant experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO, Board, or C-suite leaders.
- Known for your proactive approach, strong judgment, and commercial thinking.
- Comfortable providing respectful challenge, influencing at senior levels, and working at pace.
- You act with initiative, identifies what needs to get done and follows through without prompting.
- Highly capable with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- A confident communicator who can navigate complex stakeholder environments with professionalism and discretion.
- Adept at juggling competing priorities, anticipating needs and following through.
- Experience with event planning and project coordination a strong advantage.
