About the opportunity

We’re on a strong growth trajectory and seeking an exceptional Director of Sales and Marketing to join our executive leadership team and lead the commercial engine of the business.

 

This is a critical, high-impact role for a visionary leader who thrives on innovation, drives high-performance teams, and delivers market-shaping results

 

Based at our Support Office in Dandenong South and reporting directly to the CEO, you will take full ownership of our multi-channel sales and marketing strategy, leading its evolution, execution, and impact.

 

You’ll be instrumental in shaping and aligning our commercial direction with long-term strategic goals, enhancing brand equity, and fostering trusted, value-driven partnerships across franchise networks, trade channels, and key commercial accounts.

This is more than a senior role—it’s a seat at the table. It requires a leader with strategic agility, strong commercial instincts, and a bold, forward-thinking mindset ready to challenge the status quo and accelerate growth in a dynamic, competitive market.

What are some of responsibilities of the role:

  • Work hand-in-hand with the CEO and executive team to drive ambitious growth agenda, pushing boundaries and disrupting the automotive industry through bold, innovative strategies.
  • Lead the charge in designing and executing go-to-market strategies that not only accelerate revenue growth and market penetration but also set new standards for customer engagement across both domestic and international landscapes.
  • Inspire and empower senior sales leaders to consistently exceed growth targets through empowerment, mentorship, and performance development.
  • Drive seamless execution of a unified sales strategy across all channels, ensuring operational excellence, brand consistency, and local market agility.
  • Forge and nurture strategic alliances and partnerships to dramatically strengthen the business market position, extend reach, and amplify the company’s influence as a dynamic force within the sector.
  • Utilise data-driven market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer analytics to guide strategy, drive innovation, and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Architect and champion, a bold strategic marketing vision, driving brand positioning, integrated multi-channel campaigns, and cutting-edge digital transformation initiatives that redefine every customer interaction
  • Proactively identify, assess, and capitalise on emerging markets, customer segments, and sales channels, turning untapped opportunities into scalable, game-changing commercial ventures.
  • Actively contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, securing sustainable profitability and maximising resource efficiency in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What we're seeking from you:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field highly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in sales and marketing, preferably across multi-channel and franchise-based organisations, with a demonstrated ability to drive growth and lead high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading multi-channel sales organisations, including franchise, retail, distribution, and corporate sales.
  • Experience managing national and/or international sales and marketing operations, with exposure to global or regional market dynamics.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy, comfortable with P&L management and driving ROI-focused decision-making.
  • Customer-centric approach with a strong focus on enhancing customer experience and engagement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, adept at influencing at the executive and partner levels.
