The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join an established store and are on the lookout for an automotive Assistant Store Manager to join our Brookvale location.

In this full-time role you will support coordinating the day-to-day technical operations of the store workshop and trade activity to deliver high quality customer experiences and to meet store targets. 

This opportunity will allow you to take the next step in your career, building your management skills whilst working with quality people and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Store Manager and manage the store in their absence.

  • Support the management of the daily workshop schedule and maintain an on-time customer delivery.

  • Plan and coordinate parts supply and delivery to the workshop workflow.

  • Monitor the quality of work performed in the workshop.

  • Perform vehicle repairs in the workshop.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Previous experience in any of these positions: Automotive Parts Installer, Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Brake Mechanic, Automotive Service Technician, Mechanical installer (with basic wheel alignment preferred) 

  • Experience in leading or managing people and fostering a positive culture.
  • Evidence of working across different vehicle makes and models 

  • Full drivers’ licence with an ability to drive manual 

  • A team player who has strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail 

  • Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred)
